Greek Lamb Meatball, Feta & Tomato Bake

Serves: 4 pax

  • Coarse salt and pepper
  • 4 ounces feta cheese
  • Burger buns
  • 2 table spoons plain yogurt
  • 1 table spoon olive oil
  • 3 scallions, thinly sliced
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • ½ pound ground lamb meat
  • 1 cucumber thinly sliced in long slices

  1. Combine lamb meat, curry powder and scallions, season with salt and pepper and mix.
  2. Shape seasoned meat into 4 patties
  3. Heat olive oil to medium high
  4. Sear patties first and then cook through till brown on medium low flame/heat
  5. Separately mix yogurt and feta and season with salt and pepper
  6. On burger buns, spread feta mixture, layer with meat patty, top off with cucumber and burger bun  top half
